To become great at anything, you need a little bit of talent and a whole lot of training. If you have the wrong priorities, or simply don't consider the consequences of your actions, you may be training yourself for the wrong things. In 1 Timothy, young adults are encouraged to diligently train themselves to be godly, so that they can fully utilize their gifts in ways that impact eternity.
