3 John is a lesson in character. John, Gaius and Demetrius demonstrate impeccable character and are great examples of hospitality, faithfulness, and integrity. We also get a glimpse of selfishness, gossip and destruction in Diotrephes. Our greatest example always needs to be Jesus Christ, the only ONE who committed no sin and lived completely selflessly!
