Serving in June

Donate Backpacks to Brother Bill's

Brother Bill's Helping Hand provides new school supplies and backpacks for West Dallas children at its Back to School Beach Bash. Enlist your family, community, or neighborhood to do a backpack drive, and deliver them to Brother Bill's!

Lunch with the Homeless at Watermark

Welcome Home invites individuals or community groups to prepare/serve lunch to a group of 20+ individuals each Sunday, while engaging with them and participating in our group discussion. This is offered every Sunday.

Help Watermark Urgent Care collect NEW Bibles and Gospel-centered children's books for patients. Our goal is to care for our patients' spiritual health in addition to their physical health. Help us spread the Good News!

Brother Bill's Helping Hand Grocery Store provides free food for West Dallas residents. Restocking volunteers help unload food deliveries, restock shelves, and bag produce.

Exercise Class Instructor

Lend a hand to Brother Bill's Helping Hands by leading a Zumba, bootcamp, or yoga class to the women of West Dallas! No certification required.

Refugees Summer Reading Program

Serve refugee children (Grades K - 8) with For the Nations to assist with reading, math, and Bible programs. For ages 14 and up. Volunteers need to be able to serve a full week (Sunday orientation and then either morning or afternoon slot, Monday through Thursday.)

Serve at Cornerstone Crossroads Academy by sitting with students who are working on online high school classes. Help students think through the material and complete activities. High school-level education required.

Thrive Women's Clinic Cleanup (West Dallas Location)

Thrive Women's Clinic serves women in unexpected pregnancies. Come serve the women by cleaning up and making the clinic beautiful. For ages 10 and up. Confidentially Agreement must be signed upon arrival.

Serve Single Moms & Play with Kids

Buckner will host a class for our Family Pathway mothers. We are looking for 30 volunteers to help have fun with their kids during the training! For ages 16 and up.

Thrive Women's Clinic Cleanup (Jupiter Location)

Thrive Women's Clinic serves women in unexpected pregnancies. Come serve the women by cleaning up and making the clinic beautiful. For ages 10 and up. Confidentially Agreement must be signed upon arrival.

Glow: A Day of Beauty

Beauty professionals and volunteers needed to host and serve under-served women! GLOW is a day where under-served women are cared for and pampered right here at Watermark Dallas! For parents with children ages preschool to early elementary, come join us in serving the women by greeting them with flowers and smiles from 8:30am to 9:30am.

Serve Foster Families & Kids

While Buckner hosts a training for parents they need helping serving the foster, adoptive, and biological children. Help provide fun and games for children! Buckner needs 50 volunteers to bring smiles and energy to the children. For ages 16 and up.

Diaper and Clothing Drive

Thrive Women's Clinic provides services for women in unexpected pregnancies. Please drop off diapers sizes Newborn to 6, wipes, and clothing 0-24 months. Have extra time? Come take a tour of the clinic!

Come and See Prison Tour

This event is to give volunteers an opportunity to visit with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice inmates and hear their dreams and goals for their life while incarcerated and pending release. This is an interactive opportunity. For ages 18 and up. (Please inform if volunteer has felony convictions or is on parole or probation.)

Buckner Clay Shoot

The Buckner Clay Shoot raises money to help Buckner Family Pathways, a program to help single parents strengthen their families. We need 100 volunteers to help with score-keeping and launching the clay targets. No training required! Kids under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. (Please note that event is at a gun range.)
