Meet Michael (Zig)

I grew up in the great state of Arkansas (pig soooie!). I was raised in a Christian family and became a believer at a young age after hearing the good news of the Gospel. Even though I grew up going to church, my faith was more about performance and knowing the right things to say than relying on the finished work of the cross.

I spent most of my 20s trying to manage and figure life out on my own. It took hitting rock bottom for God to get my attention. The Lord used that painful season to introduce me to a body of faithful believers at Watermark who taught me what it looked like to authentically follow Christ.

As the Watermark Resources Communication Coordinator, I have the privilege of connecting other churches with resources to disciple their members toward full devotion to Christ.

You can often find me exploring new taco spots throughout DFW, drinking coffee, or planning my next outdoor adventure.
