I was born in Arizona, but raised in the great west Texas town of Idalou (about 15 minutes outside of Lubbock). I was blessed to grow up in a Christian home and accepted Christ at a young age. However, it wasn’t until my Sophomore year at Texas Tech, after many failed attempts of trying to do things my way, that I decided to start making Christ a priority. Through some amazing community, I started learning that God really is good and I could trust Him to take control of my life!
I graduated from Texas Tech in 2009 with an accounting degree, and was brought to Dallas for a job. I spent a little over a year in public accounting then spent some time in accounting at an oil and gas company. I was nervous moving to Dallas and leaving behind family and community, but the Lord provided an incredible community group within a month of moving here! I am involved with student ministries and love getting to build relationships and share what Christ has done in my life with these young women. I can’t tell you how excited I am to now get to combine my experience in accounting with my passion for ministry.
I love all things outside (weather-permitting of course), running, music, coffee, attempting to play sports, learning to cook, and travelling.
