While teaching Acts 8:1-8 and seeing the church spread out from Jerusalem, Adam Tarnow showed us that 1) God uses people, not positions, to share his message, 2) God randomly scatters people on purpose, and 3) the world is changed when the good news is shared.
- In Acts 8:2, people were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria and shared the gospel, but the Apostles stayed in Jerusalem. Where have you been placed, where the staff at Watermark is not, where you can be faithful in sharing the gospel? Who has been placed in your path that needs to hear the message of Jesus?
- Read Colossians 4:6. Is lack of information the reason why you are afraid to share the gospel? Where can you go to be equipped?
- What fear is holding you back from sharing the gospel with people? How can those around you encourage you to be faithful in sharing the message of Jesus?
- If your world has been changed, go share the good news. Who is that next person who's world can be changed because of Jesus? Share with your community who that person is and how you can be held accountable to share the good news of Christ.
