Calling all Single Adults to a life-transforming love relationship with Jesus Christ and His followers

The Single Adult ministry exists to provide single adults the opportunity to engage with God, His Word, and other believers in their stage of life through worship, Bible study, and fellowship. We seek to create a safe environment for everyone to discover what it means to be a Christ follower regardless of where you are in that search and to establish and build relationships with those who are on that same journey.

Singles in Service: Help for Haiti

Through the month of March, the Young Adult and Single Adult ministries of Watermark Community Church are offering a way for YOU to participate in God's work in Haiti as the country continues to rebuild and recover from the devastating earthquake of January 12th.  Through a partnership with GAiN (Global Aid Network www.gainusa.org), our goal is to accumulate supplies for and assemble at least 1,000 hygiene kits for the people of Haiti to be distributed there in the name of Christ.  We hope to far exceed this goal.  Here are the ways you can participate as well as help us involve others.

1. Personally sign-up to purchase and bring supplies for these kits.

2. Use your relationships with corporations or businesses who specialize in these products to acquire these supplies.

3. Engage your community (i.e. community group, workplace, apartment complex/neighborhood, etc.) to participate with you.

4. Sign-up to attend the Singles in Service Event on April 10th to help us assemble these kits.

In order to make sure we have a balance of supplies for these kits, we are asking that you go online here   for the complete list of items for these hygiene kits.  Then sign up online for the items you would like to collect or pick up your assignments at The Porch on Tuesday nights.  Once you have acquired your supplies, we will be collecting them at The Porch on Tuesday nights, in the 1st floor lobby of the Watermark Office tower during the week, and just outside the front doors of the tower on Sunday mornings.

In addition to the supplies, each pack will require $5 for shipping, so we hope you will consider giving financially as well to help us with this cost.  Simply give to Watermark Community Church and write "Relief" in the memo line of your check.

We hope that you will prayerfully consider how God would have you participate and then jump in with us in helping Haiti.

A Single Adult community group is a small group of single men or women who meet regularly together to encourage one another to love God and love others. Check out the Community Page to find out about community group opportunities or to sign up for the next GroupLink.
