Stephanie Tyroch
Before coming on staff at Watermark, I was a fourth grade math & science teacher. My decision to leave teaching and join the Family Ministry team at Watermark was a “leap of faith” – one that required me to follow the Lord’s path for my life rather than my own. I didn’t see the opportunity coming – especially considering how much I loved teaching – but the Lord made it very clear that He had been preparing my heart for this position at Watermark all along the way. I have learned so much from being on staff and am beyond grateful for the chance to serve alongside such fun, humble and authentic people.
I became a believer as a young girl, but did not make the decision to FULLY submit my life to Christ until October 2006. At that time, I decided to start living out Proverbs 3:5-6, a verse that continues to encourage me to live a life of full trust in the Lord and His plans above my own. Since recommitting my life to Christ, I met and married the love of my life, Jonathan “Tyroch” Tyroch. Some people think it’s strange that I still refer to him as “Tyroch” even though we’re married, but I think it’s awesome. That’s what I’ve always called him, so why change now? I love running, listening to country music, doing anything competitive, baking, and going on walks with my husband.
