My time in Junior High and High School were some of the best and worst years in my life, which really developed in me a heart for student ministries. I count it such a privilege to serve students, parents and small group leaders through my role as Assistant to Student Ministries.
I am a born and raised in Texas and became a follower of Christ in eighth grade when the Lord opened my eyes to His goodness and grace through the love and persistence of my childhood best friend. She had a confidence and peace that I couldn’t ignore and realized I did not possess. It was then that I came to fully understand who Jesus is and what He accomplished for me on the cross. Through some of the lowest points of my life after becoming a believer, the Lord has been so faithful and patient to pursue me and continually draw me to Himself.
After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, I moved back to Dallas, worked in public relations and began attending Watermark in the summer of 2005. I never imagined that diving in at Watermark would lead to a job in full time ministry and meeting my spouse, Jeremy, but it did. He has used being a part of the body at Watermark to refine my life, form me more into the image of Christ and deepen my understanding of and love for Him.
I enjoy constructing spreadsheets to the Glory of God, organizing for fun, eating fast food, ministering to my high school small group girls, and spending lazy Saturdays with my sweet husband.
