Robin Howard
I came on staff in January of 2011 after a career in sales, and then staying home to raise our two children. The Lord had definitely been preparing me for a change of venue for ministry. In September of 2008 I was privileged to go with ALARM to Burundi for a leadership/discipleship conference. It was life changing. I knew that I wanted to understand the impact our worldview has on shaping our culture for the good and/or bad. That led to my application to study Biblical Worldview under Chuck Colson in the Centurions Program. Through the Lord’s prompting and timing, I was approached about coming on staff here at Watermark. I knew the Lord was calling me to jump on board, even amidst fear of failure, uncertainty and being one of the oldest women on staff.
I am blessed that God called me to serve on the Equipping Team because that is my passion. I love to help folks “be approved and not ashamed, accurately handling scripture.” (2 Tim. 2:15). I love helping people connect the dots of what they believe with living it out in all areas of life.
I accepted Christ at age seven at a child evangelism gathering led by Angel Martinez. Little did I know that my husband, David Howard, would accept Christ at age twelve at a similar event led by Angel Martinez. We have two children Landram and Grace.
I am interested in preventative health, fitness and nutrition. I enjoy running, swimming, biking, hiking and snow skiing. I love vacations that are active and being outside enjoying God’s beautiful creation!
