Robbi Russell
I’ve been on staff since the summer of 2007. The first 3 ½ years were in Children’s ministry before making the switch to Singles Community. I love getting to hear people’s stories of grace and forgiveness. It really encourages me to sit down with women, listen to what the Lord has done in their lives, and how He is continuing to mold them.
I was born and raised in the small country town of Grandview, TX. Go Zebras!! I’ve grown up in church my whole life, and came to know Christ as my Savior at the young age of eight. I attended undergrad at Texas A&M University (WHOOP!) and grad school at the University of North Texas. Before coming on staff at Watermark, I worked in the counseling field with all ages.
I’m a sucker for Mexican food. I love to travel. I love watching sports. I don’t really like Christian music (am I allowed to say that?). My favorite Christmas movie of all time is Elf. I watch it weekly in the month of December and also on June 25th (the half-year of Christmas)! If I could wear a t-shirt, jeans, and flip flops every day, I would…I think high heels are of the devil.
