Johnny Hawkins
I have heard it said that you know when something is a “calling,” when you would rather do that certain thing than anything else. I can definitely say that about working with community groups here at Watermark. It is with great honor and humility that I get to rely on God daily to shepherd, challenge, equip and encourage our body to look more like Christ by living closely in community with other believers. Part of my passion for other believers is to help them understand their gifts and talents and be impact for God’s kingdom.
I began following Christ as the leader of my life when I was eighteen and had experienced much of the emptiness that the world has to offer. Before coming on staff at Watermark I worked in physical therapy clinics, with high school athletics, at a university, with minor league teams and alongside orthopedic surgeons. Maybe some sales experience in there too.
I am married to Jennifer. We live in Richardson, Texas and have 5 kids: Hayden, Haley, Elle, JohnScott and Cambelle.
