After allowing me to experience the pain of my sinful decisions, God uses my mistakes to minister to the lost. Having achieved success in the finance world, God allowed me to take my passion for His people and make it my fulltime job. He has surrounded me with an incredibly encouraging work family.
I accepted Christ as a youngster, but didn’t fully understand what that meant. After living life the way the world said was right, and experiencing the trauma of sinful decisions as an adult, Christ continued to woo me, and thankfully the scales fell from my eyes and I was able to fully understand what His death and resurrection meant. I am overwhelmingly thankful for his constant pursuit of this sinner, and His sacrifice of love for me. (Romans 5:8)In spite of all the mistakes, God graciously blessed me with a wonderful husband in 2011, who makes me laugh until I cry, and reflects Christ’s love for the church in his tender care for me.
I am passionate about life change. To talk to, hear about and read stories where someone who went to serve others, ended up growing closer to their Savior due to the lessons learned while serving. Being a witness to God’s passionate pursuit of His children through different methods of provision whether it is a shelter, prison, or a mentoring relationship, He reminds me of His constant presence and power.
